I thought it was a club *COULDN'T* fave things unless a member drew it?

...I should think that a club has the right to favourite anything in the fandom they represent...

I still say a club should reserve the right to be able to fave member art as opposed to submitting it if they want, it's just another way of submitting as I see it.

It's fine if I prefer not to send links to *all* my slash art right? I'm asking because some clubs request all of it and I don't really care for some of my old stuff anymore :b

Its not links he needs folks. To post your pics, he actually needs to post them to the gallery. Which basically means you guys "submit" to him and he double posts your art, with a not and a link back to you saying for people to "fav and comment at the original peice"

The reason, which i think is absolutely ridiculous, for this rule is the fact that some groups apparently use the fav feature to get all their members to vote on one picture to get into the top daily 5 or whatever. I personally don't see how many group owners go through three times the trouble of sorting notes, submissions, and then furthermore, posting things to their gallery is gonna make any difference on people abusing the favorites policy, but apparently DA things making them do more work will make it better for them some how.

Anyhow - its sad as hell, and i think we should all complain to DA since the only thing this policy does is make it harder to be a group leader.

Another way I've seen of organizing things is making a journal entry with all the member art, alphabetical by artist. It's easy to navigate through for the members, and (after all the hassle of setting it up. @_@; ) it's fairly easy for the admin to edit it...

I'm waiting on an email from someone from DA Administrations to tell me exactly what I can and cannot do with member's stuff, or send me a link that quotes it while i try and find it (I have a hard time with this site sometimes, finding stuff)

It does produce more work, not just for this group, but for other one's too.
They didn't say in the policy you recently showed me how they wanted it to be displayed other than a re-submit.. but I don't understand why ^__^. Either way, for now, the club will follow the rules.. and I will think of something...

I guess I could accept links for now? .. I dont see why that'd be a problem v____v maybe?
